I try to pay attention to the foods I eat. However, I am in no way strict. The principles I loosely adhere to are as follows
A. Limited meat intake (this excludes fish, though my intake of such is not infrequent at best)
B. Fresh and Local produce, including organic oils and other high-fat products
C. Organic dairy and meat (again, fish doesn't have to be organic)
D. Absolute Abstinence from Alcohol, Tobacco, Tea, and Coffee*
The layout of this blog is simple and posts are small and easily-palatable. Usually just a picture and a short description. It will always be followed with the burning (figuratively or in my esophagus, your call) question:
Should I have eaten that??
Should I have eaten that??

*This stems from the Mormon Doctrine of the Word of Wisdom, which also inspires me to eat meat sparingly and eat my produce as fresh as possible, which is most easily ensured by eating local when possible (not to mention you support your immediate economy, and encourage a model of self-suffiency within a community) and in season when possible
